Mühlhausen. Es war mir eine Ehre, am vergangenen Montag für die hiesige Anwaltschaft Herrn Matthias Häcker-Reiß als neuen Präsidenten des Landgerichts Mühlhausen begrüßen zu dürfen. Der Rathaussaal war bis auf den letzten Platz gefüllt. Anwesend war das „who is who“ der Thüringer Justiz einschließlich der neuen Thüringer Ministerin der Justiz, der Staatssekretärin, Präsident*innen der Thüringer Gerichte, der Rechtsanwaltskammer, der Notarkammer, Behördenleiter und nahezu alle Mitarbeitende und Kolleg*innen des Landgerichts. Auch viele Ehemalige gaben sich ein Stelldichein. Natürlich fehlten auch Vertreter der Politik, namentlich der Oberbürgermeister und die Landräte des Unstrut-Hainich-Kreises und des Eichsfeldkreises nicht.

Mein Grußwort endete mit den Worten: „Es gibt wohl kaum jemanden, der mehr Zustimmung von allen Seiten erlangen könnte. Und es gibt niemanden, der mit mehr Charakter und Authentizität diese Funktion bekleiden und insbesondere auch ausfüllen könnte. In diesem Sinne und im Namen des hiesigen Anwaltsvereins:

Herzlichen Glückwunsch Herr Präsident! Wir freuen uns auf die Zusammenarbeit.“
